As part of an increase in activity, AEROTECHNICS is recruiting:

And(e) aeronautical mechanic/technician for our site in Aspres-sur-Buëch.

The aeronautical mechanic license is not mandatory.

Missions entrusted to mechanic position:

  • Maintenance operations on gliders, motor gliders and light aircraft (ULM, plane).
  • Workshop work, repair and maintenance :
    – Engine maintenance 2 motorglider time (Solo, Rotax, Wobble)
    – Engine maintenance 4 temps type Rotax (ULM) or Limbach
    – Annual visit, life extension visit on gliders and motor gliders, diagnosis and replacement of
    mechanical parts…
    – Dashboard repair, replacement, wiring and commissioning of instruments…
  • Technical monitoring, the precision of assemblies and rigorous compliance with aeronautical standards.
  • Maintenance and inspections on composite gliders.

Missions entrusted to the position of composite technician :

  • Workshop work & Repair :
    – Inspection and analysis of aircraft or aircraft components made of composite materials for damage assessment,
    establishment of the operating mode in accordance with the manufacturer's documentation.
    – Estimated working time to produce quotes if necessary.
    – Composite repairs (fiberglass, carbone, kevlar) on gliders, motor gliders, light aircraft…
    -Mechanical disassembly and reassembly for access to composite parts to be repaired.
  • Quality & Follow up : Technical monitoring, precision of assemblies and rigorous compliance with aeronautical standards.

Experience :

  • Experience : Previous successful experience in an aeronautical workshop is required.
  • Licence : Possession of the Part-66 license is strongly desired (a real plus), but not obligatory.

Position based at the Chevalet aerodrome in Aspres-sur-Buëch (05)
